StayScope does not collect, store on any server, or transmit any personal data. All information stays on your own device and Chrome account — never on our servers, because we don't have any.
When you visit a supported accommodation page (Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda, VRBO, Trip.com), the extension reads the following information from the page:

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:
__NEXT_DATA__ and __APOLLO_STATE__ that contain property coordinates)chrome.storage.sync / chrome.storage.localStayScope contains no analytics libraries, no crash-reporting services, no advertising SDKs, and no telemetry of any kind. We never know how many people use the extension or what searches they perform.
StayScope does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. Because no data ever leaves your device, there is no applicable concern for users of any age.
If the privacy practices of StayScope change (for example, adding a new data source), this policy will be updated and the extension version will be incremented accordingly.
